Dark brown, fine creamy head. Smells peaty for sure, sweet too. Body is fairly creamy, something sharp, could be thicker. Taste is very sweet and very peaty, which doesn't combine wonderfully. Loads of barrel, I don't mind, just make it less oversweet.

Aged very well. The peat is still there in the front and center, but the vanilla, caramel and bread flavours also have a place.

Heaps of peat!! Love the combination of that sweet barleywine with the Islay whiskey. Flavors of caramel, iodine, peat, medicinal. Bit of a kick in the ending.
