Angry Oystah

To produce Angry Oystah, or Batch 2 in our NEIPA lab series, we focused on two main variables. The first is using Strata hops, which gives the beer a more pungent hop presence than we saw in Wicked Pawesome, or Batch 1. Pronounced tropical fruit aromas, along with a touch of dankness, come through due to the combination of Strata, Citra and Mosaic hops during the dry hop process. The second variable that we tested was getting this batch to finish a touch drier than Batch 1; this helps emphasize the hop bitterness and reduces the perceived sweetness of the beer. Show Less
