This double dry hopped IPA is a hybrid of what we love most about both east coast & west coast styled IPAs. The blend of Citra, Mosaic, Columbus, and Simcoe hops produces a complex profile of citrus, tropical fruits, and berries exploding on the nose, supported by dank and earthy undertones to round it out. Soft, fluffy, and somewhat hazy like an east coast IPA, with the moderate dryness and drinkability of a west coast IPA. Read Less

This beer is a throwback to the first generation of craft IPAs that helped start the modern craft beer movement over a decade ago. Loaded with plenty of piney Cascade hops that no throwback IPA would be complete without, this beer also features the citrusy Sasquatch hop, a descendant of a wild hop found in Pemberton BC, and Canada's only homegrown hop variety. In a nod to modern tastes, this beer doesn't go quite as extreme on the bitterness scale as many IPAs did a decade ago, but still packs a punch. Read Less

Metatheion is an experimental double-dry hopped IPA brewed with a novel product called Phantasm.
Phantasm is a powder created from the skins of Sauvignon Blanc grapes in New Zealand. When Phantasm powder is combined with a very particular custom developed yeast strain - BOOM! It is transformed into juicy flavour compounds. While not a replacement for traditional hops, it gives a big boost to the tropical notes desired in a modern IPA.

This beer is double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops to go along with the Phantasm

Mosaic provides notes of a berry + tropical medley which pairs nicely with the citrus notes of Citra, and the tropical stone fruit with a hint of coconut notes of Sabro round out the beer. Brewed with a half barley malt and half wheat malt for a full bodied refreshing tart beer.
