Catherine V. is drinking an Anniversary Ale - Fifteen by Avery Brewing Company at Marty's Liquors

Tasty! Also much like the energizer bunny in certain strange ways. Earned the Pucker Up (Level 22) badge!

Catherine V. is drinking a Window Seat by Baxter Brewing Co. at Marty's Liquors

A fortifying beverage before we go out into the blizzard!

Catherine V. is drinking a Rebel Rouser by Boston Beer Company (Samuel Adams) at Marty's Liquors

A little mouth coat-y and it feels kind of hot. I start tasting a weird metallic bitterness after a while

Catherine V. is drinking a Rebel IPA by Boston Beer Company (Samuel Adams) at Marty's Liquors

Not the worst, again. Earned the I Believe in IPA! (Level 30) badge!

Catherine V. is drinking a Rebel Rider IPA by Boston Beer Company (Samuel Adams) at Marty's Liquors

Grainy. Not the worst, as Ben says, "there is nothing actively offensive about it."

Ben P. is drinking a Hi-Res (2015) by Sixpoint Brewery at Marty's Liquors

Spectacular. So much better than last year's iteration. Massive fruitiness, restrained bready sweetness on the mid, tremendous pine finish. Earned the I Believe in IPA! (Level 38) badge!

Ben P. is drinking a Sea Monster by Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits at Marty's Liquors

Second tasting. Smooth dark chocolate and dark roast, oats add to an already-astringent finish. Respectable but ultimately forgettable. Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 21) badge!

Ben P. is drinking a Hopstitution XPL #7 (OIL!) by Jack's Abby Brewing at Marty's Liquors

Beginning a slew of retroactive check-ins from two store tastings last night. Very bitter, feels slick and sticky. I prefer Hoponius still. Earned the Lager Jack (Level 7) badge!

Ben P. is drinking a Mosaic Dry Hopped Fort Point Pale Ale by Trillium Brewing Company at Marty's Liquors

Bottled today, 1/17/15. Unbelievably juicy. Soft and eminently drinkable, lush citrus and stone fruit. Amazing stuff.
