John H is drinking a Funky Blender Preserves: Dry Hopped Apricot (Strata/Talus 8/16/21) by Casey Brewing & Blending at Fontenelle Park
When it's cool, the fruit and dry hop are light as a feather. But, it warms into overwhelming fleshy apricot. Funny, all the reviews saying this is 'tart'. It's probably the least tart apricot Casey I've ever had, and maybe the best.

The Night Of Arbitrarily Opening Bottles. Wow, the base beer is like old FIS, both cocoa & caramel, leather, roast. Dry, vanilla-coated barrel. Each sip dries out my mouth and makes me wonder what it'll be like slightly warmer, ad nauseam.

Crisp body with the imprint of molasses, grows roasty into a quick hop bite a smidge sharper than, say, a Czech lager, though less floral and more piney. Anyway, I didn’t buy enough.
