Jeff Sobel is drinking a Grimm Weisse by Grimm Artisanal Ales at Real McCoy Beer Company At The Abner Doubleday House
Wow. Banana, clove and a touch of stone fruit up front and body present. Lots of cred to their yeast strain. Malt character is spot on for the style, very Bavarian in nature. Could use a bit more mouthfeel, hefe probably at the bottom of the leg. Nice!

Decent Belgian single. Candi sugar is pretty prominent, balanced by slightly citrusy hop bitterness, maybe just a touch too hoppy. Picking up some spice, maybe coriander. Appropriately light in body. No complaints.

Jeff Sobel is drinking a Rustle by Tree House Brewing Company at Untappd at Home
Yeah, I'll be back at Tree House this fall to pick up more of this. Even a bit aged, it's still delicious.

Jeff Sobel is drinking an Old Rasputin by North Coast Brewing Company at Untappd at Home
One of my favorite RIS. Opaque, rich, almost syrupy, big notes of coffee, molasses, licorice, dates, figs, more. Nice to have it in cans.

Best beer of our travels today. Legit side-pull too. Sweet biscuit notes, a smidge toasty. Touch of honey, caramel. Just a hint of buttering hops. Super nice helles bock.
