David O'Brien is drinking a Calzone Party Lager by Rockwell Beer Co. at Sauce on the Side
A solid, if unremarkable, beer that’s good for washing down a calzone on a hot day. I wouldn’t order it by itself, but if you make it to Sauce on the Side in St. Louis, you could do much worse!

A little heavier than a stereotypical Irish stout (and *much* heavier than, say, Guinness) - but plenty of flavor and very drinkable. It’s the opposite of crushable… this is one to take your time with.

Probably a ~tad~ sweeter than it needs to be, but otherwise delicious. Great flavor, not too carbonated, goes down easy.

A heavenly take on a classic German black lager, or Schwarzbier. It’s malty but not oppressively so, substantive but not heavy, flavorful but never overpowering. A very nuanced and delicious beer, worth savoring. Don’t rush it with this one.

Crisp and refreshing, but could use more flavor. If you’re looking for a craft-caliber lager, be aware that this one tastes extremely “light.” Not a bad thing, just good to be aware of.
