Intense. Brilliant. Big green machine of a beer. So much sweet caramelised pineapple, followed by refreshing ripe melon. It's spicy with hops, which I love but I know isn't for everyone. Intense, thick and creamy. It's absolutely my thing. Great.

This is hard to fault. Sweet fruit compote nose. Papaya, mango, all the good overripe candied fruits. Grapefruit, slightly dry taste. The length of flavour is immense as expected from The Veil. Classy, so well balanced. Never oversweet. All nighter.

Oh dear, this is a letdown. Let's start with positives, it smells astoundingly delicious. Rich maple, freshly baked carrot cake. Then it starts to go wrong. The sour clashes with the sweet. The gritty mouthfeel is bad, borderline criminal. Nope for me.

Fantastic pale. Imagine being able to session this all night. It's got a mineral fiziness, it smells phenolic and weedy. Pineapple and dry grape skins on the taste. Bitter on the finish. Excellent. You can't get much better than this for the style.
