Batch 1. Bottled 12/20. After 3 years the hops have completely faded and it has become one dimensional. Good. But one dimensional. Oaky. Citrusy. I aged it too long.

Brendan : What was the thought behind aging an IPA? It's not the thought hasn't crossed my mind. Was it intentional or a cellar find?
Fri, 25 Aug 2023 23:14:38 +0000 ReportMike Ranella: Brendan it technically wasn’t a ipa but rather, a wild pale ale, mixed culture, aged in oak and then dry hopped. That said, the dry hopping added a layer of flavor. So it was the dry hop element that faded. I had one fresher and it was better
