A pretty beer with a slight hint of citrus (from the bergamot) in the nose, but no overwhelming fruitiness (I was afraid it might taste like a screwdriver). The coriander comes through only after you swallow. Might have to have another later this week.Earned the The Gondolier badge!
IMHO, stout in a glass should be a place where light goes to die. This ale fits the bill. Not a real chewy stout, but that nitro smoothness and an underlying sweetness make for a very nice experience. Dog Street Pub is a great venue, every town needs one.
Not a very robust IPA (to be fair, the brewery’s description says as much) that looks almost like a milkshake and has a sweetness that is not my cup of tea. For a non-IPA drinker, though, it could get them on the turn.
