Hmm...not sure about this one. Not really a porter. Sweet rather than malty. Toffee & caramel flavours. A very nice strong mild, rather than a porter.

Excellent pale ale. The individual hops are not named in the tasting notes but they certainly pack a punch.

Didn't realise that Ayinger is owned by Radeberger, one of Germany's largest beer firms. Seems they haven't meddled too much as this is a rich malty beer. Very nice.
