Bob W is drinking a Guinness Draught by Guinness at The Moon and Sixpence (Wetherspoon)
After quite enjoying the Murphy's, I felt that it would be interesting to compare it to Guinness. At £4.12 a pint but frequently double that price in London, I found that this had a astringent metallic twang by comparrison. Murphy's was the clear winner!
Bob W is drinking a Murphy's Irish Stout by Heineken Ireland at The Moon and Sixpence (Wetherspoon)
It was very hot tonight and none of the cask beers in my local appealed to me. I tried a pint of the newly introduced (to Spoons) Murphy's at a bargain £2.99 for a pint. I found it refreshing and easy to drink. No great hop profile but like a nitro mild!

Under a quid, but nothing wrong with this! Probably making space for some naff World Cup England special for Wednesday?

Best JHB I've enjoyed for years! Just like it used to taste. Fresh and cool. Ideal for this humid weather.
