Ken Pishna: Ouch! When I first saw gin barrel aged Pilsner, I thought, oh man, that sounds awesome. But I agree, awesome for me would be subtly. IMO, Pilsner is never meant to be on your face.

Rather than subtle botanical notes and a hint of gin as I would expect, this hits you over the head with a cheap gin flavor and too much alcohol. It's almost like they dumped a cheap bottle of gin into the keg.

Brian Ott: I'm now almost certain that they added cheap gin to the beer. Their standard Pilsner is 4.9% ABV, this stuff was 7.3%.

I understand the concept of unfiltered and as a Homebrewer I've never filtered a beer in my life, but this beer looks horrible and doesn't taste anything like a pilsner. How is this even close to being a Pilsner?
