Rich and malty, yet light and hoppy at the same time. Has the sweet toffee maltiness of the brown at first, followed by a slightly herbal bitterness and a soft fruit caramel flavour that runs throughout.

Real treat to have barley wine on cask. Caramel and dried fruits on the nose. Like a rich dessert wine, sweet and fruity, but more drinkable. Super smooth and a touch of underlying dryness which means it is not at all cloying.
