Straight From the Fields: Simcoe

This series is something we are really proud of! For the very first time since the beginning of Frontaal, we were invited by Yakima Chief to select our very own lot of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe! We went down to their warehouse back in October 2021 and choose our hop out of every four lots. These NE DIPA's are the perfect showcase of what you can expect from our hops for this year. The base malt and yeast is kept very simple, giving as much way to the hops as possible to come to fruition.

Our Simcoe showcases huge fruity and slightly earthy aromas, alongside with grapefruit, passion fruit, pine and berry characteristics. In addition to its great bittering qualities, the Simcoe hop often referred to as "Cascade on steroids” can also occasionally carry notes of apricots. Show Less
