Five years after being brewed and this is ridiculously good. Rich, smooth caramel old ale. Thanks Chuck S.

Nearly five years old. Pulled out of the back of the cellar. Very smooth. The smokiness is barely perceptible now but lots of caramel and chocolate. Some dark fruits and toffee on the finish. The label suggests storing for a year 😀

From the cellar. Aged pretty well. Lots of dried fruit.

10/2013. Smooth; lots of bran muffins & ancient grains. Dry. Nicely effervescent. I like.

Fantastic with a few years on it

Bought years ago in Toronto. Bottled on 11/4/2013. Caramel leads,slight taste of anise. Dry finish.

Shallow and flavourless. Maybe an issue with this particular bottle.

This beer is just great! Complex and deep.

Mellow flavours of dark fruit and malts. Aged very nicely.
