[4.40] Powdery milk chocolate, super dry and highly sweet and full in its expression. Mild-moderate syrupiness gives way to near medium body…. sugared crystal mini-flakes dispersed throughout. Roast, expresso, vanilla, toffee also quite present. Nice one!

I really enjoyed it. Definitely not an Irish dry stout! Their head brewer should be fired if that’s the style they think it is. Closer to sweet or milk than that. Very flavorful. Mouthfeel matches ABV

Body is closer to an 8%ABV milk stout than the semi-clean, semi-dry finish of an Irish Stout. Rich chocolate makes up the majority of the flavor profile, while the heavy roast flavor helps to balance out the sweetness and make the finish slightly dry.
