SMaSH '18

SMaSH '18 was brewed for the Florida SMaSH Beer Festival using only Bairds Maris Otter® Finest Ale Malt and Azacca hops. We brewed a no boil, kettle soured pale ale and fermented it with a unique kveik yeast strain in the upper 80's. A large whirlpool and dry hop give the beer a bright, fruity character, the malt and no boil process give the beer a big, bready malt character, the kettle souring made the beer lightly tart, while the kveik yeast added a complexity to the fruit character of the hops.
