Dark Moon Rising

Black as an overcast moonless night, deep in the northern woods, this beer is nonetheless quite approachable. A common misconception among those new to craft beer appreciation is that darkness somehow equates to having one's taste buds mugged in a dark alley. This beer has a malt-forward profile, with minimal bitterness. Easily detectable are notes of chocolate and coffee. Adjunct grains help to give it more of a rich mouth-feel, while still being a dry, fully fermented beer, without the sweetness of some other stout styles.
