North X Pomona Island Pineapple Flambé Sour

Our collaboration with our good friends, Pomona Island is here! In this beer we’ve taken inspiration from a favourite dessert, the Pineapple Flambé! Let’s pour the rum and light the match!

We’ve started with a thick and smooth base made up of plenty of naked oats, flaked oats and wheat. We added in Brown Demerara Sugar to the boil to sweeten the beer up, caramelise and bring out all of those deep and lovely molasses and toffee flavours. Spicy and aromatic cinnamon in the whirlpool compliments the sweetness whilst a big dose of Pineapple pureé and a dash of Sabro hops bring the tropics!
