IPA Test Batch #4 (October 2016)

We’ve been trialing batches/techniques for a few years now and this is our 4th iteration of an India Pale. Each time we do these trial batches we get closer to our core IPA release.
Sticking to the batch #3 theme, we’ve continued with the Mid West style IPA – because we love it!
This style not only showcases hops as the hero but it’s also about the malt profile achieving the perfect balance.
The main difference of this batch to the last is the colour, the Medium Crystal and Caramalt adds a brilliant copper profile. These two specialty malts plus the Munich add fullness to the body and mid palate and a distinct malt character. Show Less
