A run-of-the-mill hefeweizen would never be in the Karben4 playbook but a run-on sentence style name would be, and this idea has been baking for a while. We wanted to mimic a favorite breakfast item, so toasted barley and friends create the pancake portion and tricky tricks tricked the yeast into producing a truckload of banana aroma esters. No short stack is complete without fruit and syrup, and that is where the passionfruit and ABV-raising Belgian candi sugar enter the scene.
