Tactical Hatchet

Hey Kirby, I’m way too wasted on box wine and jazz cabbage to write tasting notes for the new beer. Just tell people it’s called Tactical Hatchet. It’s kind of high in ABV for an IPA, but that gives it more body from the glycerols and oats and dark malted wheat and stuff. We used Simcoe and Eureka hops, which is kind of a weird pairing, but we got lucky in pairing them the first time out, so we’re doing it again. Notes of guava, pine, citrus, Kerns canned juice, and Jeff Spicoli’s VW bus. So it’s kind of the exact opposite of this Cardboardeaux I’m drinking now. I’m sure someone will see 7.7% IPA with Simcoe and Eureka, and without reading this, they’ll comment and ask if it’s the same beer as our Sonoma Pride beer. It is, but don’t confirm it, lie, and say it’s a peanut butter and pineapple DIPA or something. Also, please proofread the notes for me cause I’m 3/4 of a box in and was way more focused on watching Gilmore Girls the entire time I wrote this email. You’re the best. Thanks!
