When faced with a grievous circumstance, sometimes the best solution is stubborn bitterness. The unwillingness to let a lost cause go and an affinity for piney, resinous hops came together in the North Texas winter. The debate over Black IPA vs Cascadian Dark Ale has taken on absurd proportions, and so has our entry, the Hoppy Black Ale, or as we prefer to call it, Festivus, our feat of strength.

7.5% ABV, 55 IBUs

MALTS: Pale Ale, Vienna, Crystal Rye, Extra Dark Crystal,
White Wheat Malt, Dehusked Chocolate
YEAST: English Ale
