Control Volume

A mathematical model uses a system of equations to simplify and represent reality. It allows for the identification and optimization of important process to achieve a desired flavor profile faster than trial and error alone. To construct a mathematical model, you must identify your Control Volume and the relevant mass fluxes. This will govern how concentrations evolve over time and ultimately yield the final concentrations in the glass that drives the flavor profile.

Control Volume is the first release in a mini series that will help us upscale and apply the small scale discovery we announced with dHop14. Based on the the preliminary modeling efforts, we’ve tried a new yeast strain for the first time based on certain properties and ran it through our evolving process. Control Volume pours a glowing tangerine color. It’s highly aromatic releasing notes of fruit punch, citrus, orange, and slight bubblegum. The taste follows the nose with a soft juicy mouthfeel and firm bitterness for balance. Show Less
