Pulling Levers

Loosely modelled on some of my favourite drinking sessions when I was last in the UK, Pulling Levers is based on 100% English Golden Promise malt. This is my all time favourite malt, and delivers a beautiful flavour that is quintessentially “malty”. Fresh baked white bread with a touch of scone. It’s dry-hopped with a New Zealand hop called Wakatu, which delivers floral notes mixed in with over-ripe grapefruit. Subtle though, this is NOT a hop bomb! The yeast, originally from Fuller’s brewery in London, delivers stonefruit notes which pair well with the hops, as well as a slight whiff of the “Burton Snatch” (google it, I’m not being filthy) from the water treatment.
