The Big LeBoise Lager

The Big LeBoise Lager was brewed in conjunction with the Big LeBoise celebration that the Weekly is throwing on June 25th. We tried to make a beer which matches the personality and character of our favorite local weekly paper. The result is drinkable lager with enough substance to venture off the usual expectations of a lager and place it in a category of it's own. Smooth and easy drinking with a pleasant Cascade type hop aroma and a distinct hop bite. We used all locally grown hops which shine in the flavor profile but don't overpower the approachability of this brew. Calling it a hoppy lager doesn't do it justice but maybe the easiest way to describe it. This is one of the more unique beers we have brewed to date and I look forward to all of you trying it.
