Since 2011, we have been dedicated to the preservation and revival of traditional customs in connection with communal brewing in and around the town of Rehau in Upper Franconia/Germany. By now, more than 260 members contribute through their commitment to the fact that we, as a non-profit association, have become a contact point for all friends of the Franconian brewing culture.
The centre of our voluntary association activities is craft brewing. In addition to the monthly brewing all other steps of the brewing process also take place in our association's brewhouse - right up to the bottling, storage and sale of our own handmade beer.
Throughout the year, we also organise various festivals that enjoy great popularity beyond the borders of the town of Rehau. On these festive occasions, we open our brewery garden and invite everyone to enjoy great music, fantastic beer and Franconian delicacies, accompanied by a changing supporting programme. Furthermore, our open regulars' tables in different pubs in the Rehau area offer everyone the opportunity to get to know Kommunbräu Rehau and to convince themselves of the conviviality of our club life.
Whether it's testing new recipes, setting up the museum of Rehau's pub culture, tending our own hop garden or organising club outings - we are open to everyone who wants to join in and help shape things. Show Less
