Alpha Brewing Company in Tower Grove East will expand its hours and officially relaunch its kitchen on July 5, 2019. The brewery, specializing in sour and barrel-aged beers since 2013, will now be open at Noon every day at its 4310 Fyler Avenue location, just off Morganford Rd. near Tower Grove Park.
To accompany the expanded hours, Alpha will officially relaunch its fast-casual kitchen under common ownership as Alpha Taproom and Kitchen. Alpha’s menu will feature shareables and entrees, including a smash burger made from 100% ground beef tenderloin from Kenrick’s meats, homemade mustard, pub cheese, and house-fermented pickles. Other specialties include from-scratch seasoned pork rinds, crackling-encrusted chicken tender tacos, and Alpha beer-infused chicken brats. Alpha is also excited to complement its sour and barrel-aged brews with a house pickling program and barrel-aged hot sauces.
The kitchen is intended to complement the wide range of Alpha beers, from Delphian, a sour blonde aged in Chardonnay barrels, to more traditional beers like Swingle, a blonde ale with fresh lime juice, sure to be a summer sipper. Weekend kitchen specials feature a unique menu item and beer pairing.
Patrons can enjoy the new menu and current draft favorites on Alpha’s dog-friendly patio, boasting live music Thursday nights, and afternoons on Saturday and Sunday. You may even get to cuddle up with their surly- but-friendly brewery cat, Tassie, a treasure among regulars.
