ZENNEGASH is a collab with our friends—and excellent brewers—of Allagash Brewing Company from Portland, Maine in the USA. Little side note: the first ever collab we did was with them in 2011: the Very Spéciale Belge.
We didn’t have to look far to find a name for the beer. We simply combined the two rivers we both owe our names to: the Allagash river, and our good old Zenne!
This time we brewed a wheat beer (the specialty of Allagash!), dry hopped with both American and European hops. We made two versions: one bottled version, refermented with Brett-yeast, and one clean version in kegs. Read Less

The collaborative beer was the work of five brewers - Sam Calagione (Dogfish), Tomme Arthur (The Lost Abbey), Adam Avery (Avery Brewing), Rob Todd (Allagash), and Vinnie Cirulzo (Russian River). The guys all took a trip to Belgium together a few years back and decided to make a beer together - this is it. The beer was brewed at Tomme's brewery and each company put in a few barrels of beer and some of their house yeast. The result is a tasty sour ale. The original label artwork was painstakingly painted by Sam Calagione. Read Less

Les Deux Brasseurs is a Golden Ale fermented with two strains of Brettanomyces. Our Brettanomyces, discovered and isolated at our location was flown in fresh for this special occasion. With Dirk's favorite strain of Brettanomyces, the beer was brewed using Pilsner Malt and a small amount of Torrified Wheat. The Golden Ale was then hopped with German Hallertau and fermented and aged for four months. In the course of the brew it was dry hopped with Czech Saaz.
The result is a beer of remarkable character with significant fruit tones, including; pear, apple and pineapple. This beer also produces the flavors of graham cracker, barnyard character and is rounded by an herbal spicy hop finish. Read Less
