This was done in partnership with Dietz & Watson to create a beer that emulated their Honey Maple Smoked Dietz Nuts. We used wildflower honey, dark maple syrup, applewood smoked malts and a variety of roasted malts to achieve the flavor profile we are looking for. This beer will have aromas similar to bacon or ham coming from the smoked malts paired with the honey and syrup. Those flavors will come through in more nuanced way on the palate and compliment the coffee and dark chocolate flavors of the porter. Read Less
