It's a bit astringent this year, with a bitter grapefruit profile. I can understand why some drinkers are not rating high as it's not a smooth blonde, but I think it's tasty.

This is a lot more complex than the former stout here, the Black Bitch, a fave brew and one of the few stouts I liked before I joined Untapped. Licorice aplenty and of course Pinoy sweet. Potent. Could be termed the Black Bitch on Heat.

Lovely honey beer. Just right without being overly sweet. Not had many honey beers, other than full on mead, but this is very well-balanced.

Berry beers are always tricky. This one has the berry, but also a bit too much sweetness that gives it that cough syrup taste too. It's an interesting one.

I rate this creamy brew higher than the global average. I see my rating from last year and agree. Perhaps it's bcz I've not had decent beer for over a week, perhaps it's bcz it's great to be back in this bar or perhaps the beer suits my taste perfectly
