Acidic malts where I want lusciousness, a flat finish where I want sweetness. Well-rendered in many regards, like the cocoa and roasted nut interplay, but aggressively sharp and single-noted for what other imperial ales offer. It’s fine, not a favorite.

  • Brandon Brock: Pecan porter sounds like money. Definitely something I’d be interested in, but the acidity would definitely turn me off.
