Aroma: Moderate hop aroma from late kettle additions of American hop varieties. A citrusy hop character is present. Moderate maltiness balances against the hop presentation and shows a caramel character.

Appearance: Amber in color. It should have a large off-white head with good retention. Very clear.

Flavour: Moderate hop flavour from American hop varieties, with a citrusy quality. Malt flavors are moderate and usually show an initial malty sweetness followed by a moderate caramel flavour. Malt and hop bitterness are balanced and mutually supportive.

Mouthfeel: Medium body. Carbonation moderate. Overall smooth finish.

Overall Impression: Like an American pale ale with more body and more caramel richness. Show Less
