Small Batch Sparkling Blonde Ale

The 2nd release in a series of experimental Oenobeers. The base beer is all about well-crafted simplicity, brewed with fine German malts and just enough hops to lend a touch of crispness to the finish. This is a beer secure in its supporting role, allowing the grapes to achieve their fullest expression.

Finished in our open-top "Beer Aquarium" glass fermenters in Charlotte, our Blonde Ale was conditioned on 50 lbs of Merlot grape must sourced from Silver Fork Winery in Morganton, NC. A true beer-wine hybrid, it features flavor notes of toast, light citrus, black cherry, and currants. Show Less
