Our traditional bitter is brewed to a recipe that has been handed down from brewery to brewery locally for decades. Sweet and malty, with a delicate hop finish, and a robust bitter backbone. Because this is a beer for Portsmouth, we asked local photographer Johnny Black if he had a photo that represented Portsmouth, as well as tying in to the original badge designs. All he asked for was us to make a donation to Portsmouth Hospital Charity. We decided instead of a one off donation, we wanted to continuously give something back for all their hard work, so 5p per pint sold will go to help their great work. Thank you to our incredible NHS.
