Ratebeer import. Drank February 2015. Coffee, black treacle and chocolate oat aroma. Raisin, dark fruit, sultana, prunes and candied peel. A subtle sourness in there. Dry finish. Nice.

Pitch black appearance. Nose is oats and roasted malt. Stunning mouthfeel, oat comes through more than the rye
Justin Baxter: Still only 110 check ins for this. I'm one of em! Have you got any of their others? Good King Henry reserve? I've got red admiral aging
Alex Law: Got their mixed case. Got king Henry aging. Have the export ale and milk stout to try still.

Got to give this Rye & Oatmeal Porter a high rating. Mighty fine it is. Served up in an Old Chimneys Brewery glass. (Not clear)

Decent stout. Would have liked it a little thicker, but does have good flavor.

Blindingly good considering bottle has a BBE of 05 2014! Going to really miss these now Alan has retired Old Chimneys.
