Collaboration between Town Brewing and Lost Worlds Brewing. A gratzer is a smoked Polish wheat beer known for its subtle smoke taste. This version of the Gratzer is named after Czersk Castle. The castle was largely destroyed in the 1650’s by Swedish forces and rebuilt around 1750. Today, Czersk retains only a shadow of its former glory. Over the years, archaeologists spent a significant amount of time excavating the castle and surrounding areas. Nearly 800 graves have been uncovered in the castle’s courtyard including one reputed to be King Harold of England and one labeled simply “grave 609” whose inhabitant was so richly adorned in death that its intrigued historians. But the greatest local legends concern a highly valuable treasure hidden on the castle grounds – a treasure dating back before the Roman Empire. Read Less

We finally hosted our good friends from Town Brewing for a long overdue collab. A twist on a traditional Gose, we brewed this beer with dark malts for color purposes, then we added 30 pounds of the freshest oysters from the awesome guys at Oysters Carolina, Sea Salt and Coriander, then we balanced it out with 40 pounds of fresh lemon Zest!
