Cheeky really has a sad fail in this one…not just bc HBC586 is, respectfully, a total snooze, but mostly bc they loaded it up with muddy crystal malt to the point it tastes like builder’s tea. I’d only offer this at the Huntington Tearoom with a scone tbh

Goddamn, this is fantastic. Although the body is slightly thinner, it’s essentially an equally hop-saturated but crisper & cleaner Adiós Ghost with Nelson… so I’m sure all you fiends are gonna hate that. ☀️

Ok fine, I’ll drink a 2015 Aventinus out of a proper Aventinus glass. Decadent, luxurious with like (age aside) fresh pluots drizzled in dulce de leche. I think the age gives her something of a spicy, woodsy, herbal, musky, sexy, redwood vibe overall. 🌟

Jon A: 3.8 - and this is in total, embarrassing, contrast with Maine's Zoe, which is a totally delightful toasty crusty high ABV IPA. I can see why cheeky is red with embarrassment on this one…
