Nothing amazing or outstanding in any way but it is very tasty. 4 for the price of 3 at Asda so I got 4 x 440ml cans for £9.25. Very reasonable! Soft, citrusy, tropical, fruity. A little bitter, hoppy. Didn't notice a dry finish but it did leave a dryness

Rather amazed by this! Takes me back to the brown ales of my long lost youth! Back when I was 14 or 15 I used to rather like a brown ale! This is decently full of roasted malts. Quite resoundingly bitter with nutty notes too. Light. At just 3.4% abv 🤷

Didn't seem as good as previously but maybe it struggled to stand up to the strong flavours of tonight's dinner. Indeed, after I'd finished eating, the beer seemed to improve. Hoppy, citrusy, fairly light despite the 5.9% abv. Still a good beer then.

LCI from last night when I was busy with other things. Listed as a dark IPL on the label but comes through more as a very "robust" porter. Almost stout-like. Thick, deep, dark, roasty. A little bitterness. Very decently hoppy. Lovely beer. In truth.. 4.4
