Raw Brewing Co was created from a passion for real ale and a dream that became reality. Raw was sourced from Prospect Brewery in Wigan after their success led to an urgent expansion. Raw moved across the Pennines to Staveley in April 2010 and construction began. The first beer was brewed on 15th May with Patsy and John from Prospect on hand to assist.
Raw called in administrators in August 2018 and was immediately acquired by Silver Brewhouse. The company, the brand and its assets were all purchased, and Raw beers still continue to be brewed now, with four core beers complemented with monthly and seasonal special, all of which deliver bags of new world hoppy flavour, something which Raw has always been famous for.
