Comes off a bit grassy (and I swear that’s not just because of the Irish green-ery). Citrus and the accompanying bitterness is quite refreshing, but I’d like something in the malt to balance whatever hop combination this is. Not bad but not brilliant.

Here for the holidays, the release of “Slainte” is a fine way to celebrate. Very mild, light mouthfeel with the coffee and bitter chocolate malts I was expecting from the colour. I’d love it either richer or lighter (maybe an Irish red lager) but…slainte!
