Rude Elf's Reserve by Fegley's Brew Works

Loaded with the winter spices, yet the belgian yeast come though nicely. This is a good beer, my first try of fegleys. Impressive

Oh yeah! Interesting with 2 years of age on it. Still very dry which is weird for belgian style, but so damn good!

I taste the sweet malt of barleywine, lots of bourbon, and the bitter chocolate of an imperial stout. Nice. High carb though

Nice crisp ipa, floral and piney. Solid bitterness, and pretty good finish. Easy to drink

Rugbrød by The Bruery

Ryan Wallace is drinking a Rugbrød by The Bruery at Hillsborough, NJ

I like this beer as it throws a curveball. Smells almost like a sour, but is nicely rye forward. Mild tartness at end. Cheap for Bruery too

Toffee, caramel, malt, raisin with the bourbon aging. Even gets some characteristics from the stout. Super smooth

Frickin delicious. Roasty oats followed by vanilla bourbon flavor. So balanced, just an amazing beer. Easy 5. Happy to have another!
