Very old school; pithy, herbal, bitter grapefruit and grass/white pepper spiciness. Faint crystal malt, clean finish.

Nice, a little overly acidic - sharp tannins and cherry skin tartness, underbelly of hay, wheat, some oak. Doesn’t much resemble the base beer at all with the cherry. Still quite good, but I prefer it non-fruited.

Among the best Zenne batches I’ve had. Reminds me of OGV in a lot of ways. Super complex. Must, lemon rind, mineral water, hay, oak, peaches, cork, light moldy/musty funk, green apple, hint of wine & sherry booziness. Phenomenal.
