Citrusy but also a bit bitter, as if there was yellow grapefruit and underripe apricots. I wish the body were a bit more solid.

Quite a lot of vanilla on the nose on pouring telegraphs the dessertish nature of this. On the palate the berries are much more dominant. Sweet, but not overly so. Our non-beer-geek guests also enjoyed this.

Wow, that’s a lot of coffee. Sweet and dark roast coffee, much like Kopiko coffee lollies. Intense, and lovely.

Sascha Wenninger is drinking a Barrel Aged Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout by Angry Chair Brewing at Untappd at Home
In the nose I get a lot of overripe banana up front which then fades and the chocolate sauce and chocolate brownie fudge aromas take over. Dark and actually not as sweet as I expected. Super well done, and it walks the line just perfectly.
