Interesting nose of rich caramel & light lemongrass. Moderately heavy body, light but crisp carbonation. Finish has huge slightly burnt caramel. I’m not sure I get the “fruited” part of this strong ale, but it’s delicious nonetheless.

Titillating tropical fruit hop nose: passion fruit, guava. Strong, crisp carbonation, moderate body. Sweet but dank finish, moderate-to-high bitterness, but still pleasant enough for a guy who doesn’t go IPA-first.

Aged 9 months. Full tan head. Dry dark chocolate nose, faint oak. Thick, viscous body, light but present carbonation. Rich cocoa/semi-cakey finish, slight boozy heat, faint touch of oxidation. Any maple presence has vanished, but this has stood up well.
