Now says it's brewed _for_ Mornington. But still a solid pale ale - dryish but w a slight chewiness to the lightish malt, kumquat & grapefruit, firming bitterness. Currently a snip @ Dan's.

Bready aroma with flowers and spices. 7+ So it tastes. Very briefly rich with stinging spicy bitterness that perhaps arrives just a little soon. Somebody really loves lagers at Deeds.

haw thorne is drinking a Coco Husk by Duncan's Brewing
Grew tired of waiting for a Duncan's beer without stuff in it. Dark brown w a cm of beige head. Aroma of Milo & chocolate. Cocoa husk gives it a dry, spiced wood character which works well w the otherwise sweetish stout. Lacks grunt for >6% alcohol. OK.

Gold with a 2cm white head. Not much aroma - some cereal, some stone fruit. Very light bodied. Clean, dry and empty until a somewhat spicy and oddly harsh bitter finish.
Misted pale gold with a white head. Aroma of oaked white wine, gooseberries, Meyer lemons, barely ripe apricots, hay. Dry but tautly fruity with a hint of sourness before a bitter & somewhat twiggy as well as oaky finish. Medium low carbonation. Elegant.
