Darren Lines: Where are you heading?
Grant McHerron is drinking a Carlton Draught by Carlton & United Breweries at Farmers Arms Hotel
After 5 hours drive through Friday arvo traffic then rural roads with clouds of dust & burn-off, this actually isn't too bad :)
Grant McHerron: I'm at my destination: I'm doing commentary at the Nhill airshow :)
Grant McHerron: In other news: the P-8A handling display at Aldinga last weekend was one of the best I've seen & definitely the best in SA :)
Darren Lines: I’ll be sure to let JB know. Belinda is also waiting for your call….
Grant McHerron: Yeah, doing so on Monday. It's been a tad hectic :)
Grant McHerron is drinking a Hazy XPA by Pirate Life Brewing at Virgin Australia Lounge
Quite nice, juicy but also a little thin with a slightly sharp edge. Not bad & would have again :)
Grant McHerron is drinking a Sicily Birra Lager by Barossa Valley Brewing at Sicily Mare Pizzeria
Rather nice for a lager :) Fruity, yeasty, reasonable body & refreshing. Good to have in a trattoria :)
Earned the Lager Jack (Level 40) badge!Darren Lines: Is Snapper Point brewing open?
Grant McHerron: Unsure. At the Aldinga pub for a bite to eat :)
Darren Lines: Snapper Point was in the same complex. Kick back brewing is just down the road from the hotel. Worth checking oot.
Grant McHerron: Thanks for the heads up. We were there late & had no idea. Food was excellent at Sicily Marw
Grant McHerron is drinking an Ace of Spades by BrewBoys at The Stirling Hotel
More like a porter than a stout: a bit thin, some roasted malt (burnt toast) & a solid hit of coffee. Not bad, but not what I was expecting :)
Purchased at Carwyn Cellars
Fair chunk of pine dankness over tropical fruit with a slightly dry, bitter end. Not too bad :)
