My best bottle of this yet. It doesn't have the artificial fruit flavour I remember. Sweet plums and a touch of chocolate on a very smooth body. Getting seriously close to the benchmark Titanic.

New Woodforde's beer for me and could be their best. A proper full-bodied strong ale, but with more bitterness than the sweet fruitcake flavours of many others.

I'm sure Adnams did a cask IPL a couple of years ago. Is it just marketing hype? Sat outside the Nelly, it's far from balmy, but it's a tasty beer in top condition. Bright citrus and apricot flavours coming through.
