Nick P. is drinking a Supa Chalupa by Sapwood Cellars Brewery at Sapwood Cellars
Lotsa lime on the nose and palate. Flavors combine nicely with the tequila barrel aging to create a delicious result that suits the TIPA style perfectly. I wasn’t expecting to love this, but it’s wonderful.

The high ABV cannot be hidden, but the west coast hop flavors are authentic and well represented. A good version of a West coast TIPA.

Now this is a pale ale in the best sense of the style. Smooth and creamy (due to the spelt, no doubt) with a perfect hop character. Well done.

Amazing peach aroma, which translates onto the palate with a beautiful tea flavored accent. I could drink this all summer long.

Oh, yeah. I expected a lot, and I wasn’t disappointed. Rich chocolate notes, good almond and bourbon barrel flavors, and loads of coconut. The 12.1% ABV is evident, and I’m thankful it is, as it reminds me to savor this slowly. Delicious and decadent.
